“How can YOU receive the overflow?”

Now YOU can receive the overflow – here's how…

1. By Praise: which touches God's heart
2. By Prayer : which increases your confidence and releases Angels to go forth on your behalf to speed up the blessing's
3. By Participation: make your faith an action (say what the Word says and do what the Word says to do.) Take an active part in your church. If you don't know what you're called to do, do whatever your hand finds to do until you discover your unique gift or calling. Be active with your family, loving them, and spending time with them. There is an order with God: God first, family second, and then your job/ministry/etc… Become a student of the Word and take every opportunity that comes your way to share the good news of how God is changing your life.

‘saved’ or one with Christ. We offer easy to understand questions and answers to help you make the right decision for your spirit’s eternal destiny.

Q What is salvation and why get saved?
A We believe in hell and eternal retribution. The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost (Revelation 19:20). Salvation is redemption from eternal damnation and restoration back to God (Mark 16:16). We believe man is a created being made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Q How do I get saved?
A We believe man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth (being born-again) is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life (II Corinthians 7:10). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was born of a virgin, was crucified, died, was buried, and on the third day He arose from the dead and ascended on high where He took His seat at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Q Do I need to be baptized?
A We believe in water baptism by immersion, which is a direct commandment of Jesus and is for Believers only. (Acts 2:38; Acts 16:33; Matthew 28:19)

Q What about speaking in tongues?
A We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. (Acts 2:38-39)

Q Now that I'm saved, what's next?
A We believe the Bible teaches that without Holiness no man shall see the Lord. The doctrine of Sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace (Hebrews 12:14).

Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. You said in Your Word that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Father, I am calling on Jesus right now. I believe He died on the cross for my sins, that He was raised from the dead on the third day, and He's alive right now. Lord Jesus, I am asking You now, come into my heart. Live Your life in me and through me. I repent of my sins and surrender myself totally and completely to You. Heavenly Father, by faith I now confess Jesus Christ as my new Lord and Savior from this day forward, I dedicate my life to serving Him.

Receiving The Pastor’s Heart

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. (Jeremiah 3:15)

"What is this about receiving the heart of my Pastor? I cannot possibly receive anyone's heart, can I? “When receiving the heart of the Pastor, you are adopting his way of thinking and his methods of doing things. You begin to think as he would think. For example, our Pastor places top priority on understanding the Word of God; therefore, you would also begin to think of the Word as being first priority. A person's priority thinking can easily be found by looking at his vision. One of the main focuses of the Church vision is understanding. Implementing his method of doing things can be done by doing those things that make understanding the Word of God top priority.

"Who is the Pastor?" Our Pastor is not simply a man, but he is God's appointed man for the Church. Romans 13:1 tells us, “. . . but there is no power but of God. - the powers that be are ordained of God. Hebrews 13:17 also tells us, "to obey them (Pastor) that have rule (authority) over you, and submit yourselves: for they (Pastor) watch for your souls, as they (Pastor) that must give account, they (Pastor) may do it with joy, and not with grief. For that is unprofitable for you. ” It is important to realize that the Pastor has been sent as a gift from God.

Ephesians 4:11-12 says, And “he gave. . Pastors . . for the perfecting of the saints, for the edifying of the body of Christ. ” The key thing here is not the person of the Pastor, but  the office of the Pastor. It is the office of the Pastor that has been sent for the perfecting of the saints. According to Jeremiah 3:15 the Pastor perfects or benefits the saints by feeding you (them) with knowledge and understanding.

There are two reasons you will not receive the benefits of your Pastor. First, if you do not realize that he is a gift from God. It would be as if your parents bought you a telescope as a gift, and forgot to tell you they purchased it. One night you are looking in the sky to view the spectacular rings of Saturn (only visible maybe every 3 years), but you cannot see clearly because you have no telescope. You cannot receive the benefit of having the telescope if you do not realize what is yours. The same applies for our Pastor, if we never realize that he is a gift, we will never receive the benefits. The second reason you will not receive the benefits of the Pastor, is if you do not esteem him highly. Esteem simply means to respect, appreciate, or hold high regard for.

"If our Pastor is a gift from God, why isn't he perfect?" We must realize that the man is not perfect, but the ministry gift is perfect. The Bible tells us to know, no man after the flesh; therefore, if you know your pastor after the spirit, his imperfections in the flesh will not hinder you from receiving from him. "How can I know my Pastor after the Spirit?"

I Thessalonians 5:12-13 says, “And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake . . . ” The word "know" means to understand or to receive the heart of him. When you get to know the Pastor, you are simply getting to know his heart. "How?" Again by understanding his way of thinking, and method of doing things.
