Youth Ministry
The purpose of our Youth Ministry is to teach young people the "Truth," the uncompromised Word of God. Our aim is to train young people to be leaders who overcome the pressures of this world. God gave us a vision of a youth ministry with ever-increasing standards; where young people are spirit-filled, prayed-up and anointed; dedicated to the things of God and not ashamed to add the Gospel to their conversation. We are a supernatural youth ministry, with supernatural youth, doing supernatural things.
F.L.O.W. - Future Leaders Overcoming the World
Our Youth Department offers fun, exciting programs, events, and ministries to develop youth in all aspects of their lives -- spiritual, social, physical. Our primary goal is to offer support to the youth, as well as to their parents or guardians, in preparing them for successful Christian living.
Because we recognize the varied levels of growth and development of our young people, we strive to present materials and information conducive to educating each level, with emphasis as follows:
- To bring the children into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- To encourage study, reading, and meditation in the Word of God.
- To establish and maintain personal contact with the parents.
- To build and enhance Christian attitudes, character, and conduct.
- To provide activities in a Christian environment for fun and fellowship; and
- To affirm our youth's full significance as members in the Body of Christ, the adult congregation, and in society at large.
A Message To Parents & Guardians:
We will not bow down to compromise or mediocrity. We cannot stop and will not stop pressing towards the mark. Together we can strategically combat the tactics of the enemy and preserve the hopes and dreams of our young people. We are teaching our youth by example, having them follow us as we follow Jesus.
